JOB DESCRIPTION:
HP enterprise management solutions include, but are not limited to, Enterprise Network Management (HP Software Network Node Manager) design and implementation services.
An HP Consultant must be able to understand our client's desired end-state, translate the client's requirements relative to HP's Solutions, architect the solution to meet the client's needs and deliver on the proposed solution.

Specific skills/ required:
The candidate must have several years of experience in the architecture and implementation of Enterprise Network Management, using Network Node Manager (NNM). The ideal candidate will have experience with NNM versions 6.X, 7.X and 8i. The candidate must understand all the configuration elements of NNM as well as NNM's distributed architecture facilities, polling using netmon or the advanced poller analyzer (APA) and Extended Topology.
Non-technical required skills required:
* Ability to work independently and research/resolve technical issues and solutions
* Prior hands-on experience implementing technical solutions to include:
* Identifying the problem
* Research/investigating potential solutions
* Testing potential solutions
* Providing recommended solution
* Implementing solution (including documentation)
* Skilled at performing multiple tasks simultaneously
* Ability to clearly articulate technical information to all audiences (both technical and non-technical)
* Ability to understand and analyze technical problems and develop workable solutions
* Good communications skills, both verbal and written
* Must be comfortable working with a wide variety of individuals and personalities
Mandatory Job Requirements for all Open Positions:
* U.S. Citizenship with active U.S. Government TS/SCI security clearance

Experience or certification in several of the following technical areas would be desirable, but not required:
* HP Software Certification
* Help Desk implementation
* Other HP Software technologies (NNM knowledge is a requirement)
* Datacenter Operations

* Tivoli TNG
* Novadigm
Optional Skills:
* Familiar with Project Life Cycle
* Knowledge and experience with Cisco routers and switches
* Network topology
* VPNs
* MPLS
The person selected for this position should have at least five to ten years of increasing responsibility for positioning and delivering enterprise management solutions. The person needs to have a track record of successful customer interaction, consultative selling and leading the delivery of successful consulting engagements in this area.
